Meet Nancy Zhu, DMD, MD

Dr. Nancy Zhu is an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered care with a focus on surgical excellence and clear communication. She believes every patient deserves to feel informed, comfortable, and confident throughout their treatment journey. By building trust and making treatment decisions together, she strives to create a supportive environment where patients feel cared for from consultation through recovery. She considers it a privilege to improve both her patients’ function and confidence while delivering care tailored to each individual’s needs.

Originally from Seattle, Washington, Dr. Zhu studied Molecular Biology at Pomona College before completing her Doctor of Dental Medicine at Harvard School of Dental Medicine and her Doctor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School. She completed her six-year oral and maxillofacial surgery residency at Massachusetts General Hospital and Boston Children’s Hospital, where she served as chief resident in her final year. Dr. Zhu has published numerous peer-reviewed articles and has presented her research at several national conferences. Clinically, she enjoys all aspects of oral and maxillofacial surgery, with particular interests in wisdom teeth, complex dental implant reconstruction, orthognathic surgery, and temporomandibular joint disorders.

Outside of work, Dr. Zhu enjoys running, swimming, traveling with family, and trying new breweries in search of a great IPA. A lifelong tennis fan, she has attended all four Grand Slam tournaments!
